Cancellations


Appointment reminders will be sent to you via text message 24 hours prior to your treatment. If you need to cancel or rearrange your appointment please allow 48 hours or more if possible to notify me. Any cancellation under 48 hours will incur a 30% fee of that appointment. No show will incur a 50% fee of that appointment.

I don’t like doing this but late cancellations and no shows really affect a small business. So i’m sure you can understand why we have to do this.I don’t take booking fees and would really like to remain that way.

How can I book an appointment?

You can book an appointment using one of the following methods:
 

  • Online booking using the link on our website

  • Calling us on 01530 648410 (if we are busy or closed please leave us a short message with your name and telephone number and we will get back to you as soon as we can)

  • Emailing us - info@ellajhair.co.uk

  • Contacting us through our Facebook page or instagram page

  • Completing the "Contact Us" form at the bottom of the page

  • Or walking in (please be aware there may be a wait if all stylist are busy with clients)

 
Where can I park?

 

Free Car parking is available with no time restrictions on the High Street car park. The car park is located behind the back of the salon and is opposite the Palace and The Ram Inn pub. The salon is just around the corner from the car park and it’s a very short walk away. Please note this car park has some spaces with no time restrictions which are marked with white spacings and the blue marked spacings are for 3 hours parking with no return within 1 hour.

Parking is also available on Curzon Street with no time restrictions. Curzon Street is just off the mini island at the bottom of Chapel Street. 


There is also street parking just outside the salon for 1 hour no return between Monday - Saturday 8am - 6pm, please check timings and comply with these parking restrictions as Ella J Hair cannot be held responsible for any parking tickets issued to clients.


How can I pay?

We accept cash but also accept most major credit and debit cards.

What are your prices:

Please pop in to the salon and we can give you a price list or please contact us though social media, email or call and we can let you know.


Prices of colours are 'from' as it all depends on the length and thickness of your hair and depends if we need extra product and extra time.


We offer free hair consultation and can give you a more accurate estimate price once we have seen your hair in person and discussed your hair needs.

Colour Responsible Policy

Ella J Hair follow a Colour Responsible Policy for the safety and peace of mind of our clients.

Skin Testing for Sensitivity and Reactions


We skin test to check suitability for the colouring products we provide.

If it is your first colour with us – Make an appointment to attend the salon at least 48 hours for a consultation before your appointment.


We will apply a small amount of colour formula to the inside of your elbow or behind your ear.
Leave for 48 hours, should you experience any signs of irritation, reddening, swelling, inflammation or itching please contact us. If you develop symptoms that make you unwell please contact a medical professional.


When you attend the salon we will also ask you to complete a questionnaire.


If it is 6 months since your last colour service with Ella J Hair please make an appointment at least 48 Hours before your colour appointment so we can update your test.

Please ensure this is at least 48 hours before your appointment, as we will be unable to complete your colour treatment otherwise.

What is the minimum age for colouring services?
16; our insurance does not cover colouring services on anyone under the age of 16. If we think that the client is under the age of 16, we reserve the right to ask for ID.
